WHY WE DO IT
Owner, Robin Smith, grew up in his father’s woodworking shop in Cape Town, South Africa, where he was originally exposed to the age old artistry of woodworking. Throughout his youth, he developed an appreciation for fine materials and exquisite design. Robin founded Block + Chisel with one goal in mind: to create beautiful, custom, furniture-grade cabinetry.
